Tell Your Story

Because TrueLoveSingles is a courtship site, its Profile page prompts you with questions which are tailored to avoid the casualty and sometimes pointlessness of profile questions on cheaper dating sites.

You really want to be able to tell your best story to exploring singles, and expect to find forthcoming answers from singles you are about to discover.

Completing your Profile therefore may take a little bit of time, even multiple sessions. You may want to peruse the questions on your first session, take time to consider your answers offline, and finish your Profile in subsequent sessions.

Profile Images

Good pictures of yourself are key to raising a fair amount of initial interest in you.

The avatar image should be a high-resolution face picture, and is recommended to be approximately 250 pixels wide and 250 pixels tall. A modern smartphone is capable of taking such a picture of yourself; but then again, I have seen a lot of poor selfies that just don’t really cut it. There is a menu link to upload the avatar pic.

The header image is really optional and could be thought of as your theme picture, perhaps reflecting on your hobby, passions, etc. It is recommended to be high-resolution as well, and less than 534 pixels wide and less than 223 pixels tall. There is a upload button for the header image on the bottom of the Basic tab of your Edit Profile page.

Gallery Images

Needless to say, the images in albums of your Gallery should be high-resolution as well. You really want to upload at least one or two more face pictures (besides the avatar picture), one or two full-body pictures, and one or two pictures showing you in your typical social circles.

BTW, the more is not always the better. If you really have a lot of photos to show, you probably have them already on services like Flickr or Instagram. Your Profile page allows you to display your links to these services.

Calling it Quits

Note that after closing, your account is anonymized, any of your user information (such as the content of your profile fields) and your avatar are removed.

This cannot be undone.

A closed account can be re-opened, but it does not restore your associated information, as closing account must remove this data to adhere to applicable Data Protection Acts.
